The ELAlytics project explores ways to combine English Language Arts (ELA) literacy and data literacy in the classroom. We help teachers use data visualizations (like bar graphs and word clouds) to represent texts (like novels and short stories) to create new pathways for students to think about and enjoy both texts and data. Classroom teachers, instructional coaches, and the ELAlytics team co-designed the visualizations and teaching resources on this site.
